"History"

Firstly I want to assure you that this page is not meant as any kind of history lesson, rather where I explain what I am doing, why I am doing it and how I got there (or at least try).

What I want to mention first is that in May 2011 I finished the IB diploma and graduated with a total of ?? point. I had Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry and Danish B Higher Level, and English and Business & Management Standard Level. So, as you can obviously see here - I am more of a mathsy-sciency kind of person. Make no mistake, I love books and movies! In fact, I have read a great number of fantastic books that I will recommend to you. More on this I'll add under "Me".

My scholarly life aside, I love to experience new things. As said very well by J. Krakauer,

The very basic core of a man's living spirit is his passion for adventure. The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences, and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for each day to have a new and different sun. If you want to get more out of life, you must lose your inclination for monotonous security and adopt a helter-skelter style of life that will at first appear to you to be crazy. But once you become accustomed to such a life you will see its full meaning and its incredible beauty.

I will throughout my life pursue such views on life, as the world is filled with so much simple beauty that is worth noticing. It is truly too good to give up on. It is in anything we can see and experience - which is why I am travelling away. It might be the hardest task I can go through, but it will believably be the most rewarding, my endlessly changing horizon, each day having a new and different sun.
